Mission Statement
Cream City Grecycling helps Milwaukee convert a former waste stream - used cooking oil - into a clean, renewable diesel fuel substitute called biodiesel. We collect the used cooking oil from local establishments, process it in local refineries, and supply the finished product back to the community as an alternative fuel source. Through this recycling initiative we are supporting a closed loop energy circle within Milwaukee.
Our Program
Cream City Grecycling services restaurants, schools, cafeterias, pubs, food processors, and any other establishment that uses cooking oil. We offer a certificate guaranteeing that all the oil we collect gets converted into biodiesel right here in Wisconsin. Other collectors send their oil abroad to be used as an additive in animal feed.
